Replaced the rather crummy stock nylon trigger on this 1991A1 tonight:
The nylon one Colt included with it just felt bad. It had a LOT of play on all sides, so that really hurt the feel. And it just felt chinsey.
So I replaced it with a Greider solid long LOP trigger:
Fitting was very easy, anyone with a little patience, flat file, and fine sand paper can do it. I plan to have it bead blasted by my gunsmith to get the scratchs off the trigger.
The difference in feel was amazing. No play at all made a huge difference. Over travel is still an issue, but when it was adjusted the Series 80 lever wouldn't engage fully so I just took the over travel screw out for now. Trigger feels good enough where I might not even bother with it. The difference in looks is also amazing!
Now just to replace the MSH with a Wilson checkered one I'd like to fit a narrow extended thumb saftey, but I havn't found enough good info on fitting a saftey to feel comfortable trying. Beyond that, the only other changes will be dehorning the grip saftey and hammer, a new barrel bushing(going with an EGW SS one), and a new mag catch(just to replace the MIM one).

Looks good. I tried to fit a Wilson narrow extended thumb safety to my SAI, but I couldn't even get the safety onto the pistol. So I had my 'smith do it.
