I see a lot of information on here about the Armscorp 1911s (Armscorp, Charles Daly, RIA) but never anything about the Shooters Arms Manufacting (SAM) guns from the Philippines. Anyone have any experience with them?

Manufacturer for all of the above mentioned firearms. To be technical, the machinists for the frames.
Yup, had my CD 1911 for 5 yrs. No problems. Its for sale now in the EE, need to raise funds for sewer repairs.

I have seen them mentioned some lately. Supposedly, the slides are made from bar stock and the frames are cast but I have NO direct knowledge of either.
