I'm looking for input on who has the best 10mm mags for the 1911...I've heard Tripp Research has a good product...Any thoughts?

I've got 5 Tripp Kobra mags in 45acp and they run great.

100% success using Shooting Star mags, in Colts.  However, the Kimber Eclipse locks open with one round left in the mag, almost every time.

I don't CCW my Delta, but I've never had trouble using 45 ACP Wilson 47D's in mine.  Sounds crazy, but the only difference I've noticed is that the rounds rattle in the magazine.

I have never had any problems with Metalform mags in any caliber.  Look for the round top followers, they seem to perform.

My .02.

I have a Colt Delta Elite Gold Cup and was told that the Tripps are the best, so when I got a few I found some worked fine and others caused FTF! I would stick with the original Colts - never failed.

I bought several Mec-Gars from Top Gun and they work 100%. I also have two Metal Forms for my 38 Super and they run 100% too.

I did some searches when trying to figure out what to get for my kimber custom eclipse II or whatever that stupid name of the 10mm kimber happens to be.

Due to laziness I wound up trying 2 different chip McCormick 9 rd 10mm magazines, they may just be the shooting star line.  Both work great so far, a couple hundred rounds through each one by now so still pretty new.

I just bought another one to add into the mix.

I know this is not specific to your exact question but with the 10mm 1911s different stuff works for different ones is all I could figure out.

There was also a rumor about wilson making some 10mm mags as well, I got tired of waiting and with my luck they are now available.
