Well, after much looking I finally found a checkered slide stop at the price I was willing to pay. My 1911 clone had an extended slide stop on it, but I found that the hold I use while shooting sometimes ended a string of fire due to my thumb sitting under the slide stop. There would be nothing worse than needing to use this 1911 and then having my thumb become stupid! I now present an EMC slide stop fitted to my clone.
