     Did the black/blue slide stop,safety.and grip safety ever come from the factory back then on nickel guns? I like the look but I would guess they have been replaced.

That is one clean-looking gun.  I agree with you Bill, I'd leave it just as it is and shoot the heck out of it.  It's rare to see these completely unmucked-with.

I will eventually shoot it. I have two S70s that I shoot now so I can leave this cherry for awhile.  The box is in fair shape and it has the instruction manual and some other type of booklet with it. I didn't take the manual out as it appears that it has never been removed from the box. There are some minor marks where the mag has been inserted and removed a few times. The previous owner had only cycled the gun enough to confirm it was unloaded. Close inspection by me confirms to my satisfaction that is is, indeed, unfired. I believe I got a fair deal on it.
