Hey all, Now I know that the only pistol that currently comes with a chrome lined barrel is the Norc. At a gunshow this past weekend, there was the usual guy with tons of 1911 parts. He had a couple drawers full of "new" chrome lined 1911 barrels. Has anyone seen these or at least know who made 'em? Judging by the price ($35), I would assume they're absolute shit. I was just curious. |
| There were some chrome lined USGI replacement BBLs made for the 1911 in the Vietnam era and those are very, very good. If that is what these are the price is a STEAL! If they are not, I probably would not bother with them. USGI ones go for $100 on up usually IF you can find them, so if they are real deal I'd probably buy several myself. |
