We'd need more info...

Besides serial number... post the info on the slide here, i.e. "Auto Ord, West Hurley, " ect.. as that'll help identify which Auto Ordnance you have..

So, how does yours run?  A friend of mine has one of the West Hurley models & we've had to do some work on it to get it to where he can run 100 rounds straight through it without a hitch.  When he started with it, it wouldn't make it through one magazine without failing to go back into battery time after time.

Now it needs work to get the slide to lock back on an empty magazine....but it has been great to learn how to work on a 1911.

I've heard the newer (Kahr) models are better.

Mine runs perfect.  It has a different trigger, hammer, slide lock, beavertail, and a trigger job.  Not sure if the slide was messed with.  I traded my POS Walther P22 for it.  I think I made a great trade.  I was offered $400  for it last weekend at the range and passed.  I think maybe I should have sold it, but I really like it and plan on refinishing it in OD green Moly-resin later this summer.  All in all I am pretty geeked about it.  I also have a Springfield 1911-A1 SS Loaded and I can shoot the AO better.

Here's a pic of it.  It looks kinda dorky with these sights on it, but they work great.

Heck, if it runs good and you're good with it why sell it?  My friend is liking the way his is shooting right now....it has PO-tential!  When he bought his they were real cheap.
