I have a Classic Custom that i want to change the sights on. Will the Wilson snagless 3 dot sights fit the Kimber dovetail cuts ?

Brownells sells a set of Trijicon sights that are made specifically for the Kimber 1911's.

I am not sure on this, but I think Kimber has a different dovetail.

Yes, Kimber has a different dovetail. That is why Brownells specifically lists a different part number for Kimbers' 1911 Trijicon sights.

Truglo TFOs also are available to fit Kimbers.

The Factory Kimber.Meprolights (same compnay) are great sights. I love mine on my Custom II.

Kimber's rear dovetail is totally proprietary, but their front is .330 X .70 X 60 deg.  which is totally oddball, but I milled mine out to 65 deg. and then cut .01 off the top to make it .330 X .06 X 65 deg. which is pretty standard and has all sorts of sights available.  Course, I'm a bit of a nut.

BTW... I have the "Kimber Cut" rear Novak night sight and it's really nice.  I love Novak sights.
