I found this gun on Sigforum about a yer ago. It was a diamond in the rough. At one time, it had been a premier custom job built by the Gunsite smithy. By the time I got it, the finish was worn, the grip safety pooly fit (hack job actually), and it had that old Officer's style spring plug with the fragile little tab. Well, finally, I saw that the barrel bushing was cracked. I decided it was time for a complete makeover.
Here's the work-up:
Merpolight sights (I like the big dots) Ed Brown grip safety installed after welding up the tang Bobtail treatment Reverse plug Bull barrel VZ Gatorback grips Wilson thumb safety Metaloy hard chrome finish
In another thread, you'll see that the barrel is an issue. Its VERY used. I'm going to ditch it and buy a new bushing and install the original barrel if I can't find a new bull barrel.
