My last A/O was a Kahr product that a buddy of mine talked me into buying. I told Billy the guns were junk and he swore that Kahr was great and this gun would be, too. It wouldn't even feed ball. I sent it back and it came back just as unreliable. I will say that I saw one of the newer Kahr pistols at a gunshow a couple months ago. It was a tricked out factory model with a beavertail, etc. It actually looked pretty goodf. But the price was awfully close to the Springfield Loaded, which is what I'd get for similar or slightly more money. Springfield has a very well deserved reputation for customer service. Plus they hold their value and the company is very supportive of the firearms and competition community. |
