Is $500 for an used, good condition one a decent price?  I think I might be able to talk the seller down to $400-$450 range.  He's been trying to sell it for 4 months now.

Also, how reliable is this gun?  I have no knowledge/experience with the Colt Defender Plus.  Thanks in advance.

Thanks!  Didn't know it's a Commander frame with an Officer slide.  If he don't bite at $400, I might go either a CZ or EAA (both in 45acp) at CDNN for $250-$300 range.
