Those grips are ugly but real functional, especially if the gun is wet or your hands are sweaty. If it shoots low you can swap out the front sight with a shorter one from Ameriglo, which is what I did. Its much less expensive than getting a Novak replacement. Mine has been flawless in function. I reworked the trigger myself (standard combat trigger job, I can do yours too if you want) and couldn't be happier.

our TAC medic just picked one up. I had him at the range last week for a qual and I shot it. I was amazed at the acuracy of the operator. and the most imprtant thing is it ran with zero malfunctions right outta the box. I do beleive I'll Have to get one also. He was thinking about changing out the fugly packy grips but I suggested it might not be a bad idea to keep them. A gloved up medic with bloody hands just might find them handy. Shoot it, Shoot it a lot, shoot it well, you made a good choice. D.
