Does anyone make a 1911 frame (just the frame) that has an intergral rail on the dust cover (not full length) and the rear of the fram radiused for a standard beaver tail grip safety? I have the hankein to build upo and another 1911 and I want these things on the frame with out having to go adding them. Any ideas?

I have a high cap STI that was originally built up by Dawson and then abused to NO end till I rescued it. I replaced the cracked slide, added a rail to the dust cover and refinished it in duracoat. It is by far the best pistol I have ever owned. I compete with it and I drop a magazine in it every night and put it on my night stand with an M6X attached for things that go bump in the night.

What I want to build up is a single stack  for new shooters that want a quality (read bet your ass on) 1911 that will be full featured but not cost someone MUCHO cash. So My goel is some thing like this,

The Caspian stuff is nice but a TAD high on the price side. I am tryinjg to do this pistol for under$600.00

I'm not a big fan of peening cast frames, so unless you don't mind a slighty looser frame/ slide lock-up, you may be trying to push it a bit with the total price under $600.
