My Colt Systema won't properly feed a round. The ejector grabs the base of the cartridge as it moves forward and binds it so that the slide will not go into battery. I took it all apart, looked at the extractor and it does not appear worn or bent. Since I don't know how it is supposed to work, I'm not sure how to diagnose it. Any ideas or places that might have relevant info would be appreciated. Rob |
| Did it used to work? Have you changed mags or ANYTHING else? Did you change ammo makes or types? Is the FP stuck foward? Tip broken off and stuck in breechface? Can you take the slide off and slip a round under the extractor? Will it hold against the weight of itself against gravity? What ammo are you using? |
Worked when I put it away last time I shot it. Using the mag that it shipped with, it has always worked. Tried two other mags with the same result. Using the same ball ammo that I always use, Win, white box. didn't check the firing pin, I have it disassembled now, but can check that. Extractor isn't broken. Thanks |
