Id go to Springfield personally. Not sure how much the range officers are these days, but the one I had when they first came out was a nice shooter. Ended up selling it needing funds for an engagement ring.

Years later, when the 1911 bug bit again, I spent the extra dough on a full rail TRP and havent regretted a single cent.
