I have a bonus check coming up and I wanted to know which is better the Kimber Gold Combat RL2, the new Kimber Warrior, or the Springfield Operator TRP?  I have about $1500 to spend so I want the best 1911 that incorporates a rail.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Kimber Stainless Gold Combat II (non-rail) and am very happy with it.

Unfortunatly, I have no direct experience with the other two you mention to compare it to. I like it better than a Kimber Pro-Carry Ten-II, which I like a lot!

I didn't know that the Gold Combat was available with a rail. Hmmm. I'd go with the Warrior as my #1 choice followed by the TRP.

Both the TRP and the Kimber will serve you well.  I've had both, and each is good.  I think you get a little more gun with the Springfield, but for me, it's probably just brand preference.

Don't forget though, there is always the possibility of a complete custom.  For the money a TRP costs, I'll be happy to build you a custom from the ground up off of Caspian components.  Remember how accurate that Caspian was last time with just a stock barrel?  Imagine how it would be with a match barrel.  If we order it from the factory with checkering, etc., it will be mostly assembly for me and not a lot of time consuming metal work.  I can put it together for you while I do that Series 70 gun I mentioned.  You can order it with a custom serial number too.  Just a thought.....

Before you decide though, you need to come over and check out some of my guns.  If you remember my Mil-Spec Operator from the first time we went shooting, there is an idea of what we could do wtih about $1,200.

In the meantime, here some pics to keep you motivated.

I've never owned a Kimber, but did own a TRP and loved it. It was dead on accurate and very reliable. But then I've owned several Springfields and have had the same experience with each of them.

I have the Warrior and am very pleased with it so far. I have about 400 rounds through it now without one single hicku. But I miss my checkered frontstrap and mag well that I have had on my other Kimbers.
I will be sending the pistol back to kimber for the front strap checkering and will be adding a mag well to it . Bar those two things I think its the best out there, it is built like the original Kimbers not the new ones with the "IMPROVED safety" or the external extractor. The only reason I didnt go with the Gold Combat RL was the new safety and extractor. That may not matter to you as much as it did me ( I have a   tnedancy to be a tad to traditional) either I think should be great pistols.
Look at the Bladetech holster I purchased one for my Warrior and like it rather well.

I want the best carry gun I can afford.  I am going to turn my Para-Ordnance into a fun gun and use the other 1911 as my main carry gun.

Hell I think if I was in Arizona I'd be going for a hobb's CUSTOM Carry gun.

I have been fortunate enough to be considered a friend of Hobbs.  He is not only a top notch gunsmith, but I have never met such an outgoing and friendly individual.  I know he has a lot of work lined up at the moment, but when he is ready I would love to have a Hobbs custom 1911.  All he is gotta do now is come up with a fancy logo that I can have inscribed on the grips and frame.
