This is my 1991 Colt I got as a wedding present 8 years ago. Before that my dad carried it while working as an undercover officer.(In stock form) I have done a lot of work on it since then. I added:
-Hammer
-Ambi Safety
-Grip Safety
-Nighthawk trigger
-Polished the action and wear surfaces
-Traction tape on the Front strap
Tuesday I will be shooting my first USPSA match in 2 years. I will use this setup and shoot singlestack division. In preparation for this I added an Ed Brown magwell and a new set of grips. In the last 2 weeks I've ran 400 of my Major PF reloads and haven't had a malfunction. It got cleaned today as the mags were starting to stick. Only addition yet to add is a set of the new sights. I own a lot of stuff but this one remains special.

Thanks! I'm a pretty solid Glock user; but the more time I spend with this the more I see the attraction.

Good looking setup. I love the look of GI sights but I can't shoot with them.

1991's have sights that are actually pretty good and MUCH higher profile than the original military sights

This is true. I would like to stake a fiber optic in it for competition, but they are totally usable as is.
