About ten years ago I promised myself that if I ever found a Delta for sale, I'd buy it.  I kept that promise this morning.

I'm looking around for magazines.  Usually I buy Wilson Combat, but they're out of stock.  I've been very impressed with my Checkmate mags, and they're in stock.  9 round magazines.  I've also heard good things about Tripp Research mags.  They make a 9 round and a 10 round mag.

Are Tripp mags good to go?  How far does the 10 round extend past the bottom of the magwell?  Is there any other brand I should consider?

There's also some discussion that the 45 mags I already own will work just fine.

I always had good luck with Metalform mags with the rounded metal follower. I'm pretty sure thats what the factory used to ship them with. CDNN always had them at a decent price.

Another vote for Metalform, that's all I've ever used.

I just use .45 mags. They tend to work well enough for me.

Yep.  It's worth a try.  The difference between .45 and .40/10mm mags just isn't that much.  If they don't work in your gun, you can always go outlay some cash on dedicated mags.    They do work in my Dan Wesson and Kimber 10mms though, YMMV.
