| Hello all, long timer lurker and first time posting. i have run into an issue with my Springfield Loaded model 1911. It functions fine on the range but i have noticed that when i rack the slide with any kind of authority the hammer has a propensity to drop into a half cocked position and locks up until re-cocked. sometimes it will do it even just using the slide release (usually only happens empty chamber/ no round going in) Any help would be useful. |
| Thanks, only reason I hit the slide release was to see if I could duplicate it with out physically running the slide (I could) not something I make a habit out of, I've run glocks for years wanted to try something else with the 1911. Aside from this issue shoots like a dream and sexy as all hell.I'll get on the phone with SA this week. |
