Does anyone know who makes the PSA 1911?
Thinking about buying one but don't know who makes the frames and the slides, build quality and how they stack up to a Colt 1991, 1911 (70 or 80 series) or a Springfield. Any information would be appreciated. I've heard the frames are cast Korean forgings but haven't seen any data to back this up. |
Go look at a Metro Arms American Classic II. With the exception of the decoration inside the hammer and the frame itself, the slide and the small parts are a spot on match. Heck, they even mark the slide the same way on the back and include the same magazine. Why buy a $799 PSA when the Metro Arms can be had for under $500?
