I know dick about 1911s and Kimbers, but could get this NIB for 700. If I could flip it/" />it's a bargain, I'm going to jump tomorrow. Input appreciated.

I paid $700 for one of mine, then spent another $200 on Wilson parts getting it to run good.  But it's a toss of the coin with Kimber.  You never know.

If it's got da beam grips...

Prolly ask 850 cut it to 825.. 800 if they really interested.

How long would 700 bucks in the bank take to make a hundred..

Oh and good luck..

Thanks guys. Seems like it's not a "DO IT NOW!!!" deal, but a "could be OK" deal.

Yea it's a good price but nothing spectacular.Kimber resale value on the used market is soft whether it has been fired or not. They sell well below new prices when they are used and even and unfired gun once transfered to a buyer is used. Kimber won't honor the warrenty to second hand purchaser. And the warrenty is only one year anyway which I believe has something to do with their poor resale value. That and their not so great reputation in general.
