Damn, I have no idea why I want one

I handled an old Clark meltdown at WMC Firearms in Humboldt TN. This was ~8-10 years ago.
The slide looked like a bar of soap. It also had one of the best triggers in a pistol I've ever pulled. I think a less extreme melt would appeal to me more, but it was nice. |

The owner is a crotchety old guy, seems to dislike everyone, but he loves old shotguns, rifles, and pistols. He let me dryfire it. Trigger was perfect. |

Rumor has it the quality has gone down recently I think the son passed recently, Sr has been gone awhile, I have one of the hardball 1911s he made back when he MADE them, not just stuck already made parts on them or stuck them in a CNC mill. [nothing wrong with that, it took a LOT of work out of the repetitive work.] Not all the ''purdy'' but gives any Wilson you could buy a run for fit and smoothness. |

One of my Wilsons has the extreme melt. It makes for a smooth holstering and overall snag-free carry gun. Ironically the one I carry most has none of these things
