| I just bought one of these tonight, should be here next week. What should i expect from a SA 1911 in 9mm |

Fucking awesomeness and 2 chicks at the same time In all seriousness though, the 9mm 1911 is so soft shooting it is beyond nice to shoot. The combat op has a lot going from it and from all accounts, seems to be fitted as nicely as the TRP series. If there happens to be any issues, you have bought a pistol by a company with 1 of, if not, the best customer services in the business. I didn't have the benjamin's for the combat op so I got a lowly Range Officer Op. It had a few issues out the box but SA took care of it with a turn around of 6 business days. |

I know it's a different gun, but I bought a SA LW Operator in .45 with some of my tax return money. What sold me on it was the fact that it's slide to frame fit and lockup was as good as my TRP, plus it has the same night sights. It lacked the front strap checkering that my TRP has, and the trigger is a little heavier, but for the price and the positives, I have no problem with that.
That was in contrast to the MC Operator I looked at the day I picked out my TRP, which had a loser slide fit about a year ago. Springfield seems to have stepped up their game on their cheaper stuff. ETA: I forgot to mention that my LW Operator has a ramped barrel, which surprised me, and was yet another thing that sold me on buying it. |
