| I've had one for about 4 years, the 1911R model that had the digital camo grips and a rail. It's been great, I paid my smith to clean up and lighten the trigger to 4lbs, but other than that it's hard to find any way that my custom and semi-custom 1911's are superior in any way. |
| Thanks for the info so far. I won't be able to pick it up until Monday due to my schedule not lining up with my FFL. It really sucks knowing it's payed for and sitting there waiting for me, and I have to wait.... not one of my strong suits. I want the instant gratification damnit!! OK I'm off to pout now...... |

Thanks for the replies. So far I have found the quality to be as good as any other semi custom 1911 manufacturer, which is a very good thing. I am not a big fan of the external extractor, but I know Sig has done their homework on it. My old Kimber CDP was miserable.
I took it apart and cleaned it today, and added a pair of G10 grips, just black nothing fancy. I will take some better photos and pot them up when I get time. So far so good, the first range outing will tell me if I made the right choice.... I'm sure that it won't disappoint. |
