Has anyone actually used/bought/felt one of his trigger groups?

I have seen a lot of opinions of people who have never actually seen one, but real life sightings are almost like Bigfoot.

Seems like it would have a somewhat mushy break from the description, but I am curious.  Almost enough to buy one, just to know for sure.

It may be good gear but Lippard strikes me as just a bit looney tunes.  I don't know any serious shooters, personally, who will admit to having anything to do with his stuff.

Well, he seems to think that the barrel bushing, and barrel link are the only things that hold the barrel in battery.

Maybe that's true, the way he builds them?  Personally I hard fit my barrels to the slide stop and will continue to do so.

The guy is weird and makes all sorts of bizarre claims about his guns.

FWIW I lived in CO Springs for years and was looking for a gunsmith and the guy never returned my calls and emails

His written words are pretty much WTF?  But the fact that he makes double rifles makes me wonder.

I can't find a review on his double rifles though.

He's either a genius or a retard, I'm not really sure which.  His claims don't leave a lot of middle ground.

Ummmm....( from the website ):

"The 1911 A3 Sear Cam is patented and fires a gun differently as seen.
Trigger pull is determined at the post and not the sear ledge. Trigger
adjustment is a thing of the past. A3 Cam Sear with A3 Hammer is the
first change in weapon firing system in 16000 years. Order is for a Set."
DAMN!!!!  1911 was 16000 years ago?????  Fuck, I am old!!!

I personally won't touch any of his products after reading some crazy statement about how his pistols were intended to be able to return effective fire at 600 yards in a combat situation, or something to that fact. "Effective" being the key word. I wish I could find where I read that.
I don't care how well built your 1911 is, or how good the trigger is, or even how good of a marksman you are - you can't return effective fire from an ordinary handgun out to 600 yards in a combat situation.

Edit: from his website; I guess he's only claiming 400 yard effectiveness, not 600. My bad. He also specifically states that the best part of the original 1911's design was 45 ACP. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't want to try to initiate ANY combat at 400 yards with a pistol, especially not 45 ACP.

The Combat NCO® - the first 400-yard accurate pistol.

A standard pistol of any make has a "Defensive" range of 12 feet to 20
yards. In contrast, A Combat NCO® is an "Offensive" pistol and is
effective from 2 feet to 400 yards. This difference in a combat setting
means the battlefield is pushed back; that men survive; that we at last
have a superior offensive pistol.

After some more cursory research and reading, I think I know which side of the "lunatic/genius" scale I would come down on.

Yeah, stuff reads like George RR Martin.....not quite as entertaining, though.

I think he's forgotten about the goddamn barrel lugs.
