Is there a difference in Colt 9mm and 45 sear, disconnector and spring or will they swap out between guns?

I'm not sure about your colt but I have a sig 9mm 1911. I have an EGW sear and Kimber hammer in it. The gun also has a cylinder and slide sear spring. The parts worked in a sig 45 1911 I have.

Everything other than the springs swap.
Recoil and firing pin springs are tuned to the recoil,
Mainspring is tuned to the impact energy to ignite the cartridge.

What Spring?
disco will swap
16lb recoil may work 9mm uses 14
mainspring same
sear spring same
firing pin spring same

sear may not have the correct geo for an ideal trigger, but may be safe

Parts that are different in a conventional 1911 based on caliber is the slide barrel firing pin extractor and ejector, possibly the slide stop.
Most all the lower parts are the same , which is  to say that anything in a 1911 of any caliber should be expected to require some fitting for optimal function. You might get lucky and have a part drop in and run just fine but do not bet on it.

Slide Stops are different for 9, 40, 45.

Firing pin would be the same if a Caspian slide is used as they use a 9 mm firing pin, they be other makers out who use a 9 mm fp for the complete line. SA uses an odd ball size, but don't know if it is the same for all calibers.
