Makes the pistol front heavy.

Recoil is very mild now. Point of impact is the same with or without suppressor at the distance I was shooting, which was no more than 10 yards and under.

Sound was awesome.

Very nice.  I have been eyeballing the same sights for my Colt Rail Gun.

Very nice, I went with Novak night sights for mine, and like you discovered, the front is different. Luckily Novak took care of me.

I think that's an awesome rig and a great color. For me, the only thing it lacks from perfection, is a slim magwell. But that's splitting hairs. congrats on fine 1911.

No you are right I'm in the market for one,  it's going to be a tad troublesome since the coating is cerakote.  I need to purchase one and then have it fitted then send it off for cerakote.   Maybe I should just get a Wilson combat drop in unit and send it for cerakote.
