I have a ATI 1911 Commander with an 8 round ACT mag and am looking to buy a few extra magazines. Will any 1911 magazine fit the bill or do I need something specific?

| Hows your search going? I too purchased a comm size 1911 and are looking for good reasonably priced mags. So far i found some 8rd mec-gar mags for $12 but everyone seems to be on the wilson combat or Chip McCormick bandwagon. I think imma end up pulling the trigger and grabbing a few of the mec-gars and just let the chips fall however... |

Having said that I have become a believer in Wilson Combat mags for 1911s.
