[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 9mm compact

Looking at a 9mm compact 1911 for carry for my wife

So far I've seen options from springfield, Kimberly and ria. The emp looks nicest but runs over a grand when I can even find them

What do you guys recommend? Am I missing any?

My RO compact is a nice compact 1911. Been very reliable and accurate.

My holster for it will be here tomorrow so I can finally start carrying it when the right opportunity presents itself.

The RO would be my choice if I were looking for one today, very reliable yet affordable.
