I'm going to swap out the firing pin in my Range Officer for an Ed Brown. Do I need the .075 diameter pin , or the .065 pin? Compared to my Custom II, the springfield's pin hole is alot smaller. Thanks

I know some years back Springfield used some parts that fit the .38 Super/ 9mm 1911 in their .45 cal guns. Like the ejector and firing pin. Mike the tip of the firing pin and see what you got. It's probably going to take the 38 Super / 9mm pin.

SA INC uses a "custom dia" firing pin that is not 45 acp or 38/9mm.

mic the tip as posted and order based on that measurement.

per EGW
.066 .068 (Colt / Caspian)
.073 .075 (most Springfields)
.093 (GI 45).

Springfields are .075, but, in my experience, some will fit and some will not.  I prefer the EGW pin.
