| Are these rare? I saw one today at a pawn shop and i googled it but got nothing. Think it maybe a parts gun. Looks just like a springfield gi in 45 but chambered in 9mm. Had the staked front sight. If it isnt a parts gun how much do they usually go for? Kinda been wanting to try a 9mm 1911. |
| Ok it had a NM prefix and four digit serial. Springer customer service said it went out as a parts kit in 1986. Meaning all the parts where with it just not fitted or assembled. They wanted 450$+ tax I offered 350$. They said 425$+ tax so I walked. Bsaically it was assembled and fit by god knows who. Lady said theres a 30 days warranty on all their guns if it didnt work they would have it fixed on their dime by a local gun smith. He happens to be a weird hick out in the sticks. And not everyone can work on a 1911. |
