Hey guys.
Just ordered an AO 1911PKZE from Buds. It's my first pistol. Super excited. Buds only ships new guns and they said these are new manufactured, but I'm concerned because their thumbnail looks like the older, worse version (from I have read) with the more square/wide front straps. What is a good way to tell that I have one of the new, more reliable ones just from looking at it at the shop when it comes in? The first pic is what I think the new ones are supposed to look like, and the second is what they used to look like. Am I right? Thanks!

The rounder version is just the newest version of the Kahr. Or am I wrong? I didn't think that just because it was Kahr made it was good. I thought the earlier Kahrs were bad as well. |

If you pull the UPC off of the buds website it will kick this back as an image....the UPC code is unique to that pistol....Kahr AO 1911

Thanks...but I guess I need to rephrase my question.
What do the older AO 1911s that are not good look like, and what do the new ones look like? I just want to be able to examine the gun at my FFL and know it is a new one (not new old stock). How do I do that? Thanks! |
