Need some input on left sided 1911 grip scope mounts before I post a WTB ad. Please don't get this thread locked by posting an offer. Just gathering information for a project. So far, I've found NPC and Fed Ord made products. Seems that the NPC mounts are now commanding a premium on the used market or made from unobtainium. Are there any more and who makes them? Need to know the pro's & con's of the various left sided grip scope mounts.
The project that I'm undertaking cannot use a right sided scope mount such as what AimTech makes. |

LH only is verry popular in USPSA style open guns. I use a BMR38SUPER mount. It is a canted mount that puts the dot just above iron sight height. Others make a 90 deg mount that does the same thing gets the mount as low as possible. |
