Got a Para GI Expert from a friend who asked me to go through it and make it look good:)  As much as I do not like Para (or working on them), I went to work.

Replaced internal sear and trigger parts with Wilson
Replaced the Plastic trigger with a 3 hold adjustable trigger
Replaced Plastic MSH with Metal one
Refit slide and frame and hand lapped them in
Cerakote Slide and Frame Graphite Black & Satin Aluminum
Replaced grips with G10 grips
Polished feed ramp

He specifically asked me to color fill in the billboard on the slide (I wanted to take it completely off the slide but, he said no)

Thoughts/feedback on work/project!

Excuse the pics... pistol still had some oil on it which looks like smudges etc...

Looks good. Surprised that the sights were left alone, that  is usually the first improvement.

Nice! What did you do to refit the slide and frame?

It's Cerakote! Frame is Satin Aluminum and the slide is Graphite Black

Looks good.

What did you do to the slide to frame fit?
Weld it up or beat it tight?

Did you have to refit the thumb safety?
How did the sear, disco, and hammer mate up?

They tend to be 'tight' already from what I have seen.

I have 3 dot sights profiled like that on a couple 1911's... They are a bit ugly, but they work just fine.
Are the Para sights 3 dot or just bigger 'GI' sights?
