Very nice. If I ever get the cash to get an MC Op, that is pretty much how Im going to have it set up, except 25LPI checkering and no magwell. 12 weeks is pretty good, just got my range officer back in a little over 7 weeks. Checkering takes the longest. What did you have done to your RO? SACS does great work and seem to fly under the radar. |

Fitted beaver tail, internal tuning per their recommendations, recut throat and polish as nec., lower and flare the ejection port,
undercut trigger guard, checker front strap, bevel mag well, re-park finish and FO ( Dawson ) front sight.... Is what I put on my list, however at the top and per our conversations, we'll review everything after they disassemble / inspect and call me. Prior work done, EGW bushing, EGW guide rod, spring and end plug and trigger work with EB sear / existing parts I'm hoping they have good things to say after their evaluation....as that will dictate how we proceed. |

And yes, SACS is one of the best out there that people still seem to not mention much. I started another thread as to not muddy yours up but I had... 25 LPI High cut checkering Colt style undercut 4lb trigger using existing parts 25 LPI non-ILS MSH Std Carry Bevel Front FO sight I also had them round the rear sight and rear of the thumb safety (they did it at no charge) Refinish in Black Armory Kote What style undercut did you go with? Looks like the colt style. |

Great looking gun!
Was the slide/frame fit off? Barrel worn out? The handful of MC Operators i've seen are super tight even with many thousands of rounds down the pipe. When I had my TRP Champion in the shop, I asked if they thought I could tighten up the slide/frame fit and he talked me out of it because I didnt need it and he didnt want to charge me for something that wasnt necessary. |

I am OCD and wanted NO rattle. They will only tighten up the fit along with a NM barrel. Its damn accurate! |

Cant wait to see the finished product! I just picked up a used MC off of GB that i'm planning to have turned into my "go-to" 1911 but selecting between wants and needs is always an issue. |
