He has a big backyard range and he likes to shoot stuff, and he actually hits what he's shooting at. Every once in a while he throws in a corny joke. He convinces companies and other shooters to send him weapons to show on his channel, and he blows stuff up with them. As an experienced shooter with decades of plinking or actually carring various service weapons he can give us a "backyard" opinion of what he thinks, but that's all it is. His opinion. Basically people watch his videos to see him shoot something THEY think is something interesting that they have no access to. That's all. He's not an armorer. He's not a factory rep. He doesn't sell anything. He just shoots shit. That's it. When people get all worked up over the details of this weapon over that weapon and whether or not he put his thumb here or held this weapon that way there, or made some comment they didn't like - they're missing the whole point. |

And he's a hell of a nice guy in person, too. I bump Into him at gun shows here in TN and he's almost always willing to gab about guns and ammo for as long as you want. He borrowed one of my guns for a series of videos last year and kept it for a month or so, and the videos turned out great. Contrary to what he said in one, he DID return it to me. A good guy and asset to the shooting community. |
