i have a wasr 10 with bayonet lug, bayonet, and slant muzzle break i was selling and someone offered a colt mkiv series 80 with blue finish and lots of wear (an idiot scratch as well) He wants me to add 200 cash i tried to talk him down on the cash but he won't budge. here is a picture of the gun. Should i make the trade? (really want a gi style colt for my collection but it seems in this condition 200 is a little much opinions would be very appreciated thanks) This would be a carry gun so I'm not to worried about how it looks are these mkiv 80's desirable?

no idea what a wasr is worth, but figure 600 tops for that.
once you get more than that, you can find some 70 series in similar shape.
into the 700's and you get nicer used 70 series.

and unless it has to be a colt, there are plenty of other GI versions cheaper.
and some nice other brand built up guns for around 600 as well.

wouldn't waste time on that particular example.

$650 is the top of the mark for that pistol.

Yeah thats what i thought. I just wanted to check to see if the mkiv series 80 was somehow more desirable than say a 1991 or other basic colt model. Thanks for the help.
