Who makes a extractor that already has the correct radius and bevels on the extractor hook?
Looking to pick one up to keep as a spare |

The extractor has been radiused correctly for complete reliability. The only fitting that remains is the correct tensioning of the extractor to the individual slide.
that is from their site so take it for what its worth but maybe what your wanting is not in spec.with being radiused correctly. I do know they work and thats all that matters to me. |

| There's not a single extractor on the market from anyone that does NOT need beveled, profiled, and polished. None of that should affect function of the extractor but since you asked. There's nothing on a 1911 that is drop-in or pre-fit unless you like to degrade optimal performance. Obviously many are better than others. I endorse Wilson bulletproof. |

I went ahead with the C&S extractor.
I also bought all the tools to adjust it properly. Hell I even went all out and got the guage to measure the tension. I feel like a nerd but I get real excited when I get the correct stuff to actually install it instead of eyeballing things |

I saw that too, odd that the other ones don't come with the info about spring steel. |

Well I recieved the extractor.
There is a bevel on the bottom. But not really one at all on the hook itself towards the bottom of it to help cam up the casings. I guess Ill tension it and run it and see what happens ETA. It looks like the Rockwell hardness test every single extractor. That is a nice touch I must say |
