| This has been my daily carry and was looking to upgrade some of the parts. For some reason the magazine release went missing on the last shoot. The gun was being used by several people in a field with heavy grass. Can't be sure if lock broke or worked its way out but left some good scratches around the release area. I am having it replaced with Wilson bullet proof along with the slide stop and extractor. It already has S&A flat mainspring with thin magwell and thin VZ grips. I am having the role marks removed and weapon refinished. I am leaving what other parts he feels should be replaced to the gun smith, he has worked on several other weapons including this one in the past. Is there parts on this weapon that you would have replaced while being stripped for refinish. He has already worked the trigger so that does not have to be worked on but my question is without going crazy what would you do if yours. Also the front strap has already had the checkering done by the smith. |
