Greetings members!   I've got a question that I was hoping you 1911 guys might give me you opinion on. I have a Randall .45 that I picked up many years ago. I love the gun, but it only came with aftermarket mags. I'm wondering, are real Randall mags out there, and if so, what is fair market? I see someone has 3 of them listed on GB for $199.00. They look decent. Is this market price? I'd love to have a couple of Randall mags, even though I'd probably continue to use the aftermarkets! Thanks folks!

just a comment... used Randall mags many years ago, and they were pretty soft.. to the point that imprint of cartridges could be seen in the back strap of the magazine.. may have been just a bad or missed heat treat...

Were they Blued? Or SS ?   This guy has the SS ones.  They look really good, but don't know now hard they are to find.

Checking the archived EE here, SS mags sold for about $75 each.
Whether you are willing to pay that is up to you.
I know I wouldn't.

Maybe you can talk the guy down in GB if you really want them.

If they are left handed magazines, the price is fair.  Right handed, look around at some of the better aftermarket brands.
