I went into my LGS to pick up another handgun 2 days ago and guess what they had sitting on the wall? I had to do a double take to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Not only was it there, but it was marked at its MSRP of $1999 which usually means I can get a few bucks knocked off. Sure enough, I was seeing things correctly and I was able to get a few bucks knocked off and so guess what followed me home? I couldn't be happier. I saw this beauty at SHOT Show this year and figured I would have a snowballs chance in hades of actually laying my hands on one. I'm glad I was mistaken.

Nice score, btw. The Sig Scorpion was an entrant to the same competition that produced the "M45A1" that did not make it past Phase I testing. They were built to the same RFP (Request for Proposals), hence the similarities. Sig just lost early so they decided to sell on the commercial market.
