Im frustrated n feel stoopid.  I field striped n lubed my new sig ultra nitron but now im having a hard time putting the slide stop back on. not sure what im doing wrong i  cant get it to snap in. any suggestions or pics please.  I cant find anything on yoitube the 1 i did find the guy put together to fast.

are you lining it up with the take down groove in the slide?

yes that would be the smaller 1 right.

yes. make sure your take down pin is going through your barrel link too.

yes it was going through the barrel link.  it feels almost like the plunger is.in the way.  which i know it cant be everything was fine before i took it apart

there is a spring behind the plunger. insert the detent from the bottom of the plunger pushing up and in. be careful not to scratch your receiver (it happens every once in a while).

You beat me to it !  Had same issue on my new 1911 Scorpion Carry.  Plunger is so tight I use a small punch to compress it some in order to get the slide stop in.
