I had occasion to take my new COLT M1991 to the range again and see if it would do any better than before. I have previously posted my disappointment in the accuracy of this pistol. I bought it NIB and still have less than 100 rounds through it. I hope to get back to the range soon and shoot her some more. But, with the current ammo situation,  I am reluctant to do much shooting.

Anyway, I was a bit more pleased with it this time around. I tweaked the trigger spring so that it didn't require both index fingers to fire. ( I exaggerate obviously. But it was pretty tough to shoot from factory)

Here are pics of the targets worth noting. I did shoot two other brands of ammo: S&B and CCI BLAZER (brass). This pistol does not like either at all. They would not stay on paper (8 1/2 X 11") @ 25 yards.

I suspect that a good shooter could get smaller groups, but for it's intended purpose, it is good enough. I am still a bit perplexed as to why it shoots POA @ 11 yrds, but shoots right of POA @ 25.
