| I got a Fusion USMC end cap as a gift and I see that it is longer then the one already on the 1911. Can I still use it or do I need a standard length end cap? |

Is your model a 5"? If so I think you'll be just fine. I'd install it and see if it functions ok. Yes it is. I had no idea that they made different sized end caps. What is the purpose of the longer end cap? They are used with thicker barrel bushings. |
