I made this to address a specific problem cheaply: the GI style M1911, my favorite range gun, has sights that get entirely lost on the standard NRA B-16 slow-fire pistol target. This then, uses pretty colors in the aiming area, so I can see what I'm shooting. I also included an area to record load data and other information, since I do save all my targets for later reference and load development. This would also be an excellent rifle target, in my opinion, and to that end, I have included crosshairs which intersect in the scoring ring, allowing a rifleman with a scope to more easily align his shot.
