Yes, it was was refinished before I bought it. It has all original parts except for the grips which are Colt repro.

Leave that gun alone, if you do any mods to the frame use a drop in beaver tail. They don't look as good, but you will not ruin the value of the pistol either. The gun made it 37 years untouched, don't break the streak!

I honestly don't know who refinished it? I bought it cheap from a guy who inherited it. He had no interest in guns.

Incorrect. There were no Commanders made with the Series 70 changes.
