I'm about to graduate from the academy and I'm starting to look around at pistol options as my most realistic chance of getting experience will be as a reserve. In my area as a reservce you usually have to supply all of your equipment. I have been and always will be a 1911 guy. I shoot them well, much better than a Glock or XD that is for sure.
I'm looking at getting the Sig Tac Ops for my duty gun for my reserve position whereever that might be. Also if I get lucky and end up where I want they allow the Sig 1911 as a full time duty gun. Is there any reason the Tac Ops would not be sufficient for this task? |
