because the trigger rattles quite a bit That screw is the overtravel adjustment on your trigger - it adjusts how much movement the trigger has after the hammer drops. If you keep turning the screw in, you'll find that you won't be able to release the hammer. It won't do anything to fix a rattling trigger. Your solution for that is to start with a new/oversize trigger and fit it to the frame. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

My SR1911 rattled also, the only fix I could find was fitting a new trigger, no more rattle and I have the stock one un-modfiied if I need it later. did you try calling ruger about it ? Normal for a production 1911 trigger to rattle some. It is not a problem at all. the 1911 trigger floats in the frame. |
