I really don't want to cut the slide for Novak sights, its very expensive.

With kings gun works out of business, does anyone still make a good fixed sight suitable for my gun? I really liked the Tappan combat sights too

Keep weighing your options.   I did the Novak thing and spent $300.  By the time a person does that you are better
off selling yours and buying a loaded.  Or keep it and buy a loaded or a milspec.
Sinister, nice piece!

Springfield will install the 3 dot MilSpec sights for about $65. Don't quote me on the price, but it's pretty cheap. Go to their website. There's a PDF of all the options available.
