I purchased this through George @ migunslingers.com. I used his layaway and finally was able to pay it off. I picked it up from my FFl last week. This is my first major firearm purchase and I couldn't be happier. Just looking at this thing you can tell why the command the money they do. The slide is like it is on bearings. The slide to frame fit is nice and tight no rattles at all. The blending of the parts is superb, the trigger breaks crisply at 3.5lbs. I haven't been able to make it to the range because of work but I am sure that it will shoot as good as it looks.
Here are some crappy cell pics.

Here it is in it's new home made by Withrop holsters.

Wilsons are so boring. They just work. I have a custom Bill did for me some 33 years ago now and it still works just fine too...nice pistola!

Does the slide come in black also?  If you don't mind, how many mortgage payments will it set me back?   Also, is that holster made for that exact pistol?  Maybe it's just me but it looks like it could use more trigger coverage.

The whole gun comes with Wilsons' Armor Tuff finish. I had the slide flats polished. As far as the holster I didn't have it pushed all the way in when I took the picture. As far as the price well I really don't want to post that.

Kidding? Why would I kid about that? In 1978 I handed a Colt Series 70 Model to Bill personally at Second Chance. I got it back abouit a year later as a 'Master Combat' package with a few little things done differently such as a Kart barrel rather than a BarSto, etc. I still have it today. The business has morphed into what it is now, but it was different back then.

Sweeeet. The grips really set it off. I am envious of your trigger. If I only had three grand...

Let me see if I can get SGB to take a pic...it's over at his house right now and I don't even have a camera anyway. Bill was married to his firat wife back then (Carla was it?) and IIRC Bud Coley did much of the work on my gun...but I could be wrong on that.
